Substance Use Disorders

 I am a skilled, compassionate but tough when I need to be, non-judgmental, thorough Master Level Therapist with over 15 years of counseling experience working with a wide array of clientele from youths to adults to the elderly.  Every client is different and struggling with various degrees of addiction, sometimes needing more frequent sessions than others. As a counselor, I am here as a support system, to listen to you, as we break down your unique challenges and not problems so that we can find the causal effects and subsequently create long-term efficient and strategic coping strategies. Other methods can be incorporated utilizing unique treatment modalities such as CBT, Gestalt, Rebt, Motivational Interviewing (MI), energy healing, meditation, EFT/Tapping, 12 step group referrals, non-12 group referrals, harm reduction, etc. 

How does this work? In our first session, we will build rapport and evaluate if we are the right fit as we describe and process historical facts and life experiences, weighing the pros and cons of the substance and behavioral health problems. If we decide to move forward, we will be identifying issues, creating treatment plans with goals and objectives. We will process coping mechanisms and subsequently setting up a measurable, attainable and realistic aftercare plan when your treatment episode is over. Sessions last 1 hour and fee for services are paid before the session takes place.
